Safe Early Socialisation for Young Puppies

At Dogtopia Retreat, we understand how important early socialisation is during your puppy’s critical developmental period.

Our Puppy Play Dates are specially designed for young puppies who are not yet ready for Doggie Daycare but need safe, positive exposure to other puppies, new environments and gentle guidance.

Why early socialisation matters

Between 8–18 weeks of age, puppies are in their prime learning phase. Positive experiences during this time help prevent:

Fear-based behaviours
Anxiety in new environments
Reactivity toward other dogs
Poor social skills later in life

Our Puppy Play Dates provide structured, supervised play to build confidence in a safe and supportive setting.

What are puppy play dates?

Puppy Play Dates are small-group social sessions exclusively for young puppies.

Each session includes:

Supervised puppy-only play
Confidence-building social interactions
Gentle exposure to new sights, sounds and textures
Encouragement of appropriate play behaviour
Rest breaks to prevent overstimulation

Our trained handlers closely monitor all interactions to ensure positive and safe experiences for every puppy.

We provide a safe and hygienic environment

We understand that many puppies attending are not yet fully vaccinated.

Prior to every session:

Play areas are thoroughly cleaned
Toys and surfaces are sanitised
Hospital-grade disinfectant (f10) is used

This ensures a safe and hygienic environment for developing immune systems.

When – Monday nights 6:30pm-7:30pm

Only $20 per puppy!

Requirements

To attend Puppy Play Dates, puppies must:

Be aged between 8–18 weeks
Have received at least one vaccination
Be up to date with their veterinarian’s recommended vaccination schedule
